P90X Certification

Received my official P90X Certification yesterday and was really excited.  When the P90X Certification program was first announced, I had no intention of doing the course.  I have never completed a round of P90X for the entire 12 weeks.  I have started 3 or 4 times and gave up.  I have done most of the workouts at least 1 time.  There are modifications for those of us who did not start out fit enough or light enough to do the way it is intended.   My history is when I can’t do something well, I tend to quit.

As the first P90X Certification weekend was posted, I deleted the notice.  Did not want to go there mentally or physically.  The more I thought about it, the more I felt some inner message telling me I had to do this.  When I began this journey I weighed 317.8 pounds.  Now, 5 years later I am down almost 100 pounds and know how intimidating it can be to look at a program and fear I would not be able to do it.  And that is why I decided to go.  I could learn all the best modifications and ways to support others like me in acheiving success with P90X.

It was a great weekend and did learn lots of great modifications.  Even completed the 75 minute workout with Tony Horton, he called Master Remix.  Finished hot, sweaty and worn out and using many modifications, but did it!

Don’t let your fear get in the way of something you think you can’t do.  You will never know until you try.  Let me know if you would like to attend a P90X Certification Program near you.
