Closet Shopping: Dr Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss – Day 26 Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure

My 3 favorite stores to shop are Barnes & Noble, Office Depot and Best Buy. No matter what you weigh, your books, gel pens and electronics always still fit. I really don’t enjoy clothes shopping I’m usually setting for what fits which looks ok, rather than buying things I love and was excited to wear. One trick is finding something which is acceptable and then buying it in every color; ending up with this mix and match wardrobe where basically all the outfits looks

Dr Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss – Day 25 Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure

Day 3 of Dr Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss and feeling good. Both breakfast and dinner were out and 100% ETL. Got everything in except my berries and have those for today.

Does anyone besides me see people who are overweight and wonder if you look bigger or smaller than they do. I used to ask Kevin ‘do I look thinner or heavier than that person?’ At breakfast yesterday wanted to ask my mom’s opinion about someone who walked by and changed my mind. Guess I did

Dr Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss – Day 24 Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure

Good Morning Day 2 of my Dr Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss!

Counting yesterday as a success even though there were a couple of mistakes; remembered too late I had not eaten any beans and realized this morning I had oatmeal at breakfast and brown rice at dinner. Feel asleep hungry and lived through the night anyway. This morning I am taking my mom for a doctor’s appointment and her favorite part is taking us out to breakfast at IHOP afterwards. I will have either a bowl of plain oatmeal or a bowl of fruit.

Was fun

Dr Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss – Day 23 Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure

Good Tuesday Morning,

Excited and nervous to be starting Dr. Fuhrman’s 6 Week Plan for Aggressive Weight Loss. Even seems to me I am always starting something and never finishing anything. Thought a lot this weekend in San Francisco about my life and what I was not satisfied with and all of the things I had to be grateful for and gratitude came out way on top. I am grateful to be alive and here this morning knowing it is a fresh new day and we each have the choice to make this day count by moving in the direction

Day 5 Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure – Feeling Good???

What do looking good and feeling good have to do with each other? I know when I’m not feeling good about how my body looks, I sometimes care less about my personal appearance. For example when I don’t feel like putting make up on before I run to the store, it makes me less concerned about what I am eating and if I am exercising. And the cycle can spiral downward.

This has come up this week because one of my goals for February is to donate or dispose of at least 28 items in my house. So far, I

Day 4- Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure: Happy Valentine’s Day

Ever wonder why it is so hard to love ourselves unconditionally? Me too. Why we find it so much easier to be kind to others than we are to ourselves. I say things to myself (in my head and sometimes out loud) I would not say to anyone else, even someone I don’t like. And aren’t we supposed to like ourselves? Seriously, a lot of us were taught to believe if we feel proud of ourselves or something we did, we are bragging, stuck up, full of ourselves etc.

I woke up very discouraged this morning and beating myself up.

Day 3 – Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure, Giving Up Perfection

It seems like every day I have to remind myself life is a process, not a competition and I don’t have to be perfect to win. Part of my Healthy Big Adventure was creating the system of random workouts. This is something I have been wanting to do for years and just never took the time to set up the “whole system” and if it was not completely organized, obviously I could not start, right? Wrong, wrong, wrong. Each of us can begin right where we are with what we have.

Monday, when I began, I took one workout I

Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure – Day 2

Had my ultrasound today and wondered why I did not do this sooner. The lights were dimmed, the gel was nice and warm and the tech had background music you normally hear when you are having a massage. Was really kind of disappointed when it was over. Took less than 10 minutes and yet I had been putting off for more than 2 1/2 months. Note to self: Make sure you take care of all medical screening tests before they become a medical issue. This is living healthy. Is there a test you have been putting off? When can you

One Healthy Action Each Day, No Matter What

Officially started my Healthy Big Adventure today. Still working out what all this means to me. Did my workout pretty early this morning and as much I did not want to, I have enjoyed the feeling since then of having it done. Of saying I was going to do and actually doing it. Did Leandro’s Secret Weapon and was certainly a secret to me how hard it was going to be for a 20 minute workout and the only equipment needed was a towel and water.

I decided today I am going to do at least one healthy thing every

Judi’s Healthy Big Adventure – Day 1

Thanks to all of the new likes! Excited to share this adventure which is not quite charted out yet. I see it as kind of grab bag of healthy choices in food, exercise, attitude and life. My first project is based on something I heard Carl Daikeler share once about working out. Being the co-founder and President of Beachbody, I know he has every workout dvd (and maybe tape) ever made. He said he liked to just in and pick one at random every morning and do that workout. That really appealed to the ADD in me who has trouble
